RHF Turf Growers

Here at RHF Turf Growers, we have been growing turf since 1989. In this time we have created a turf mix suitable for the domestic and commercial lawns in Lancashire. This mixture contains highly rated varieties from the S.T.R.I. list and uses a mixture of 15% dwarf perennial rye grass, which gives good wear tolerance, and even cover. The rest of the mixture is made up of:

• Slender creeping red fescue
• Strong creeping red fescue, and
• Chewing fescue

All of these give a fine dense turf, and we have found this suitable for both close mowing; or when left slightly longer to give a good play surface for a well used lawn.
